Lazer Blaze Tournaments

For those that want a little more than the standard Laser Game you can come to the tournaments and events advertised here.

Most of these events require you to be a member, mainly so it is easy to track your progress. This page also has links to the Members Events Calendars so Members can check out what Members Specials and Members ONLY events are coming up in the next month.

Highlander Tournament

What: The Highlander Tournament is a semi-regular bi-monthly event that caters for those that like to play an individual game.  Played to the standard Highlander Game you can play on Saturday Super Sessions, it's currently our most popular game.  You score points for ranking in the top third of players in the game and then bonus points for eliminating players out of the game.  It's great fun, no matter what your playing ability is.  Try out the Highlander Game at our Super Session one Saturday Night and then come along to the next Highlander Tournament.

Where: Alternates Malaga Port Kennedy & Willetton.

Cost: $18

  • Individual Game.
  • 10 minute games.
  • Each Player Plays 5 Games.
  • No Handicapping
  • Rules
  • Medallions for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Doubles Tournament

What: The Doubles tournament is a semi-regular monthly event that brings out the best in a players team skills. The games are a load of fun for both the newer members and more experienced.

Where: Alternates between stores.

Cost: $18

  • 2 players per team.
  • 10 minute games.
  • Each pair plays 4 games / Drop your worst.
  • Team handicapping system. How the handicapping system works.
  • Rules and Referees
  • Medals for Winning Double & = Highest Individual Average.

Triples Tournament

What: Triples Tournament is played randomly throughout the year.  Like the Lazer Blaze Facebook page and keep and eye on upcoming events to see when the next Triples is.

Where: Alternates between stores.

When: Randomly throughout the year

Cost: $18 per player

  • Triples Competition open to all Members.
  • Game Format changes each tournament and is announced on the night.
  • With the handicapping system (team handicap point limit is set for each tournament and listed on poster).
  • Rules and Referees.
  • Medals for the winning Triples

Space Marines Tournament

What: Space Marines Touranment is played using the Space Marine's Five (SM5) game format.  We play with 6 players per team, a Commander, a Heavy Gunner, two Scouts, a Medic and an Ammo.  Each player has a role to play and the aim of the game is to get as many points as you can, earning extra points for totally eliminating the opposing team from the game.

Where: Alternates between sites.

Cost: $18

  • Teams of 6 Players. (1*Commander, 1*Heavy Gunner, 1*Medic, 1*Ammo, 2*Scouts)
  • Two Teams per game.
  • 12 minute games.
  • No Handicapping
  • Rules
  • Medals for Players on the Winning Team
